The Stonewall Jackson House is a nationally significant historic site dedicated to the preservation of Jackson’s former home and its collections and to educate the public by interpreting the life, character and times of Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson. Special attention is given to Jackson’s time in Lexington, VA prior to the Civil War and his love of his working kitchen garden.
