After a fun day of shopping, reward yourselves with a memorable dining experience at Juniper Lounge, a local upscale restaurant conveniently located in the heart of Lexington (a short 2 minutes’ stroll away from Clover Boutique). Be sure to check out their bruschetta, grilled lamb chops, and happy hour on the patio!

Wind down as you soak in the cozy atmosphere on the alfresco terrace overlooking Main Street as you enjoy your meal. Be sure to check out their award-winning wines and amazing cocktails as well.

For dessert, head to Sweet Things Ice Cream Shoppe for a sweet treat to top off the night. This Lexington landmark has been dipping homemade ice cream in hand-rolled waffle cones for over 30 years! Order a cone or a cup of one of their 24 flavors and prepare to want to come back for more.

When it’s time to rest for the night, do it at a quaint historic boutique inn like The Georges. Offering the warmth of signature Virginia hospitality, a luxurious and comfortable stay, and amazing dining experiences at their in-house restaurants (TAPS and Haywood’s). This spot is perfect for those looking for a relaxing stay that has it all.

Travelling with a larger party? Check out Middleton House, a 4 bedroom restored 1840 house surrounded by gardens in historic downtown Lexington.

Day 2: Lexington and Rockbridge
