During this Orientation, you will learn the basics of daily care provision for animals rescued from neglect, abuse, or slaughter so come prepared to work outdoors (gloves, hat, etc.) Boots/muck or rain boots that can get muddy and dirty are highly encouraged. No open toed shoes. We highly recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. Cool water & hot tea(on cold days) will be available.

Volunteers must be 12 or older and all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

PFS has an onsite vegan policy: any snacks or food you bring for yourself needs to be plant based/vegan.

Parking is available in the front yard.

Water, gloves, masks, and tools will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own mask and work gloves if you have them. Coronavirus prevention measures and best practices are in place.
