BOAT for BEER and BADGES!!

Race begins at the Island Ford boat landing at 11AM, Saturday JULY 24th, and follows the river North for 7 miles to finish at the Elkton boat landing!

Register at Elkton Brewing Co. (100 N Fifth St, Elkton VA) by the end of the day, JULY 22nd… Must be 21 or older to sign up.

PAY-WHAT-YOU-WILL to sign up! ALL donations benefit Elkton FIRST RESPONDERS!!

Racers must check in at the Island Ford landing by 10:30am on race day (Saturday, July 24th). All boats and floats must be in the water and keeping on the South side of the bridge by 10:50am, and the race will begin at 11am! This could be interesting depending on how swift/slow the river is flowing (consider it your “warmup” while you wait).

Racers are responsible for arranging/coordinating their own transportation to Island Ford landing and from Elkton landing.

Elkton Brewing Co. “Officials” will be there at the start and the finish line to check you in and out of the river!

After all racers have finished the race, we will host a relaxed awards ceremony at the brewery to recognize and reward the top three men and top three women.

The prizes will be awesome and the adventure will be awesome, so sign up and join in on the fun!

RULES:
1. No drowning.
2. Have fun.
3. NO MOTORS.
4. Wear a lifevest.
5. Obey river laws.
6. Must register to race.
7. Respect other racers.
8. You are responsible for your own safety.
9. Must be 21 or older to register.
10. Teams are allowed – but you have to share the winnings of your placement (IF you win… IFF).

BOATS & FLOATS:
Any NON-MOTORIZED Flotation Devices! Examples: Kayaks, canoes, rafts, SUP boards, row boats, tubes, pool noodles, homemade crafts (ride at your own risk), etc…
